Re: Variance Application 3131/3163 Lanark
Dear Mayor de Weerd and Council,
My client Ted Sigmont, 3131 Lanark LLC and 3163 Lanark LLC, has reviewed the
Meridian Planning Staff Report for the referenced application and is in agreement with
the recommendation for waiving the requirement fora 10' pathway on the east Right of
Way. We agree with ITD and staff's comments that such a requirement at this time
does not accomplish the intent of the Ordinance and is not a good use of private or
public capital at this time.
Mr. Sigmont and I will be in attendance at the public hearing to address the Mayor and
Council and address any questions or comments they may have.
Thank you for consideration of my client's request. We respectfully request your
positive approval for full waiver as outlined in the City Staff Report.
Sincerely,
Patrick McKeegan Architects
