enclosure gates, we recommend the following design.

Gates:
,
Gales are the highest maintenance item of solid waste mlclosurcs. We rccollll1leod
the folluwing guidelines to help you construct a durable, low maintenance enclosure:
. We recommend metal posts and gates.
. Keep the gates at least four inches otrthe ground when hung.
. Use boILs and nuts when hanging gales from wooden postq. not wuod screws or
lag bolts.
. Construct gate slop/locks for both open and closed positions or constructed to rest
in an open position.
Floor or Plld: We recommend a concrete floor. Asphalt will nol stalld the tesl oftime. The
, container must be removed from tbe enclosure by hand for servicing. Construct the
pad level with Lbe surrounding surface so the container can be rolled out of and into
the enclosure.

,Provide for the following distances;
Twenty (20) feet of overhead clearance
I'illy (50) feet (If ftontal clearance
