Your request for approval of a wholesale sales use at 760 N. Ralstin Street has been reviewed and
approved. This decision is based on the following:
• The property is located within the corporate boundaries of the City of Meridian and is currently
zoned I-L (Light Industrial).
• Per UDC Table 11-2C-2, the use of the site for wholesale sales is permitted in the I-L zoning
district.
• No exterior alterations or site modifications are proposed or approved with this application. In
your letter dated February 23, 2010, it states outdoor storage is not proposed at this time. For
further clarification, the UDC allows outdoor storage as an accessory use in accordance with the
standards outlined in UDC 11-3A-14. However, if outdoor storage is proposed for the site, it will
require Planning Department approval prior to commencement of the use.
The applicant shall contact Building Services and the Meridian Fire Department for specific permit and
code requirements. If you should have any further questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate

To whom it may concern,
Interstate Electric Supply is an electrical wholesale distributor which will be renting the
property at 760 N. Ralstin Street Meridian, Idaho.
We will be selling and warehousing electrical and associated products. We will be using
the existing two buildings with no changes to the structures.
The showroom area will be used for our counter area to service our will call and counter
customers. We will bring in apre-fabricated counter to facilitate this business.
The existing office space will be used to accommodate our manager and sales staff. There
will be no changes to these spaces.
The warehouse space in both buildings will be used for materials storage using racking no
taller than 10 feet. All shelving and racking will be prefabricated "snap" together.
We will not be using any of the outside areas for storage of materials. It is understood that
if Interstate needs outside storage for materials, a permit will need to be processed and
visual barrier (solid fence or structure matching existing structure) done in accordance to
current ordinances.
