RESOLUTION NO. 164
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN ESTABLISHING.
THE MEETING LOCATION, TIME AND PLACE OF THE MERIDIAN PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION MEETINGS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 4-101 provides that the City Council shall set the day, .place,,
and time, of the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission's regular meetings by
resolution, adopted and passed by the City Council and that Section 4-101 establishes that
the said Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission meeting shall be held at the Meridian
City Hall at 33 East Idaho Street, by the Commission members.
WHEREAS, in the event a Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting falls on a
holiday or day on which a City or general election is held, the meeting should not be held
on that day but should be held on the following day.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: That all Regular Meetings of the Meridian Planning and Zoning
Gommission shall be held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Meridian City hall
at 7:00 o'clock P.M.; that the meetings shall be held at the Meridian City hall at 33 East
Idaho Street, by the Commission members; that in the event a Planning and Zoning
Commission"s meeting falls on a holiday or day on which a City or general election is held,
the meeting shall not be held on that day, but shall be held on the following day; that the
Commission may establish the date and time for all special meetings of the Commission,
but all special meeting shall be held at the Meridian City Hall.
SECTION 2: The effective date of this resolution shall be the date of passage as
set forth below.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, this 15th day of October, 1996.
