NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Meridian hereby supports and endorses the participation of Meridian in the GEM COMMUNITIES Program of Idaho Department of Commerce; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the elected leadership of this community realizes this program requires dedicated effort; and that this resolution is a pledge of our honest intention to complete the requirements of GEM COMMUNITY certification; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Meridian Chamber of Commerce is the organization authorized to preform the tasks necessary for certification as a GEM COMMUNITY, and that said organization will follow guidelines established by the Idaho Department of Commerce in preforming the tasks necessary for certification as a GEM COMMUNITY, 96 and that said organization shall report to the City Council not less than quarterly regarding its progress. This Resolution is in full effect upon its adoption this 16th day of August, 1988. ATTEST: BILL BREWER, PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL & ACTING MAYOR RESOLUTION NO. 121 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A SCHEDULE OF PLUMBING INSPECTION FEES AND PERMIT FEES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems it in the best interest of the City of Meridian to adopt a schedule of plumbing fees and permit fees. NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO: That the following schedule of permit and inspection fees is hereby adopted. FEE SCHEDULE a. Residential, Apartments, Condominiums, Town Houses, and/or Multiple Living Units: Each Living Unit in an Apartment, Condominium, Town House, or other Multiple Living Unit shall require a residential permit fee for each Living Unit. Permit fee, to include inspection of the water service pipe to the building and/or each Living Unit and the waste discharge pipe from the building and/or each Living Unit - $30.00; plus an inspection fee of $6.00 per fixture in the plumbing system of the building or premises. Replacement of fixtures in residences requires a permit of $10.00 plus $6.00 per fixture. b. Commercial, industrial, and other installations: The inspection fees listed in this section shall apply to any and all plumbing installations not specifically mentioned elsewhere in this schedule. The plumbing cost shall be the cost to the owner of all labor charges and all plumbing materials and equipment installed as part of the plumbing system. For uniformity of fees when labor is performed, such labor cost shall be based upon the market value of said labor.
