RESOLUTION NO. 113
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AUTHORIZING THE RESERVING OF
FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND THE WATER AND SEWER ENTERPRISE
FUND FROM FISCAL YEAR 1986-1987 AND SAID RESERVATION BEING EFFEC-
TIVE WHEN FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
FUNDS RESERVED FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND THE WATER AND SEWER
ENTERPRISE FUND '1'O THE SPECIAL BUILDING FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A NEW CITY HALL.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 96.a special building fund for
the construction of a new City Hall was authorized.
WHEREAS, the City has yearly transferred funds to construct
a new City Hall because there has not been sufficient funds in one
year;
WHEREAS, the City has authority to establish reserves and
funds and to budget for necessary improvements and exgenses;
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds to make a reservation
from the general Fund and from the Water and Sewer Enterprise Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
That there is hereby reserved from the General Fund
the sum of FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($52,500.00) and there is hereby reserved from
the water and sewer Enterprises Fund the sum of FORTY
SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 ($47,500.00); and
That there is hereby transferred from the General fund
FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS
(52,500.00) and from the Water and Sewer Enterprise
Fund FORTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS
($47,500.00) to the Special Building Fund.
That said reservation and transfer shall be effective
when presently invested funds become available such
that premature liquidation penalties :are not incurred.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF MERIDIAN, this 2nd day of June, 1987.
