1987-112 Electrical Permit Fee Schedule3'79 RESOLUTION 11?. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF AN ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems it in the best interest of the City of Meridian to adopt an Electrical Permit Fee Schedule which shall read as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and which Exhibit is by this referrence incorporated herein as if set forth in full. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO: That the Electrical Permit Fee Schedule set forth in Exhibit "A" be adopted. KING FO D ATTEST: ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE RESIDENTIAL: New Construction (B) 1 room room. .$10.00 + 2.50 for each additional Included shall be all finished and unfinished rooms, including basements, residential garages, carports, etc. (areas such as a combination kitchen-dining area shall be counted as a room for each indicated use.) Apartment buildings with up to eight (8) units come under this schedule. Each building shall require a seperate permit and each unit in the building shall'. be counted as an individual residence. New additions, rewiring, additions of brach circuits or complete rewiring same as new construction for number of rooms in which wiring is done. SWIMMING POOLS, HOT TUBS AND SPAS (C) .$20.00 380 SERVICE EQUIPMENT PERMIT FEEDS (D) Installation of new service entrance equipment or any charge in service entrance conductors and/or the installation of new circuit panel, subpanel or main disconnect (includes mobile homes). to all services . $25.00 Air conditioner & condenser unit of heat pump .$10.00 Temporary Service . $15.00 ELECTRIC SPACE HEATING PERMIT FEES (E) 1-20 kw. .$15.00 over 20 kw .$20.00 NOTE: These fees are in addition to the fees for general wiring covered in B and C above. COMMERCIAL: (F) Commercial, industrial or other Permit Fees. The following permit fees shall apply to any and all electrical installations not specifically mentioned in (b), (G), and (D) above. The wiring cost shall be the cost to the owner of all labor, material and other costs to install the wiring system including light fixtures, motor control equip- ment contained on factory installed systems or otherwise installed. When labor is performed by a homeowner, for uniformity of fee, such labor' costs shall be based upon the market value of said labor and used or reused materials shall be based on fifty percent (50%) of new retail cost or actual cost, whichever is greater, motors and appliance need not be included. Apartment buildings with nine (9) or more units and mobile home and recreational vehicle park service conductors and feeders to the individual unit service switches or pedestal come under this schedule. Reinspection Fee . $10.00 Wiring Cost not exceeding $100.00. .$15.00 Wiring Cost over $100.00 but not exceeding $500.0.0. $15.00 plus 2% of total wiring cost. Wiring Cost over $500.OObut not exceeding $10,000.00 .$15.00 plus 1% of total wiring cost. Wiring Cost over $10,000.00. .$115.00 plus 2 of 1% of that portion of the wiring cost over $10,000.00 Lawn Sprinkling and Limited Energy Permit Fees Residential lawn sprinkling systems $10.00 Commercial lawn sprinkling systems See (E) above Limited energy wiring . .. . See (E) above ELECTRICAL PLAN CHECK FEE All plan check fees shall be based on twenty ($20.00) dollars per hour not to exceed twenty percent (20%) of the permit fee and paid at time plans are picked up at the Building Department.
