Re: Time Extension -Bainbridge Subdivision (PP-OS-002)
The Meridian City Council approved Bainbridge Subdivision applications for annexation and
zoning (AZ-OS-001), conditional use permit (CUP-OS-002) and preliminary plat (PP-OS-002) on
April 19, 2005. Subsequently, time extensions for the project have been granted, most recently
to October 19, 2010, as approved by the City Council on May 12, 2009.
Even though we have submitted and secured approval of the first subdivision final plat, known as
Bainbridge Church Subdivision, it is clearly not possible to secure the City Engineer's signature,
as required, by the October 19th expiration date. Therefore, it is necessary to request an additional
time extension of the project approvals in accordance with the provisions of City of Meridian
Unified Development Code Section 11-6B-7 Paragraph C.
It is our understanding that this action is subject to City Council approval. Therefore, required
application forms and documentation is provided herewith. If you have any questions, or need
additional information, please let me know.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11-SA-SD, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
and/or vacations) shall post the subject property not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
The applicant shall post a copy of the public hearing notice of the application(s) on the property
under consideration.
The applicant shall submit proof of property posting in the form of a notarized statement and a
photograph of the posting to the City no later than seven (7) days prior to the public hearing
attesting to where and when the sign(s) were posted. Unless such Certificate is received by the
required date, the hearing will be continued.
The sign(s) shall be removed no later than three (3) days after the end of the public hearing for
which the sign(s) had been posted.
I am aware of the above requirements and will comply with the posting requirements as stated in
UDC 11-SA-5.

Subject: Time extension for Bainbridge Subdivision
Brighton Corporation is requesting a time extension from the City of Meridian for
Bainbridge Subdivision, a project first approved in 2005. Bainbridge is located at the
southwest corner of Chinden Boulevard and Ten Mile Road (site plan, back of this sheet).
In accordance with City Code, Brighton will conduct an informational meeting to review
the previously-approved project with you and to answer any questions that you may have
about the requested time extension.
