On behalf of my client, Franklin Center, LLC, please accept this application for a second
time extension for the Hazks Canyon Creek Subdivision located at 1845 W. Franklin
Road (3N, 1 W, Section l4). This time extension is being requested as required by UDC
11-6B-7C, and is due to poor market conditions for the commercial and residential uses
that aze proposed on the site.
This project was originally approved by Meridian City Council on November 16, 2006,
and included annexation, zoning, a preliminary plat, planned development and
development agreement. The first administrative time extension was approved in March
2008 for 18 months, with expiration on October 25, 2010 (TE-08-004). We are
requesting that the Council- approved time extension expire in 2 years, as proposed in the
upcoming revisions to the Meridian Unified Development Code, ZOA 10-002.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11-SA-SD, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
