This option is available through the Meridian UDC and also FCO's signed by the City on April 1, 2008. My client is planning to construct this small subdivision within the next 18 months. The original plans for construction have been delayed due to significant declines in the residential housing market since the project was approved. However, the project appears to still be in general compliance with the Meridian UDC. Additionally, a development agreement was recorded that provided additional assurances between the developer and the City. Provisions within the agreement include several sample building elevations to establish a level of quality for the future homes. I appreciate your consideration for grant time extensions during these difficult economic times.
