BE IT RESOLVID BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the follow~.ng classified estimate of the probable amount
of money necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of September, 1983-1984 be published in the
Valley News, a publication beginning with the issue of August 24, 1983, and
August 31, 1983, and the Notice of Public Hearing said estimate and probable
levy required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the probable revenue of .the City of Meridian
for the 1983-1984 fiscal year is as follows:

Section 4. That the estimated assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian
is $181,619,554.00.
PASSID by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian this
15th day of August, 1983.

I, Jack H. Niemann, City Clerk of the City of Meridian, Idaho do hereby Certify
that the above is a true and correct statement of the proposed expenditures and
revenues for fiscal year 1983-1984, all of which have been tentatively approved.
I further certify that the City of Meridian, Idaho did give notice and hold a hear-
ing upon the proposed uses of the City's General Revenue Sharing Funds with notice
having been published at least seven days prior to the adoption of the tentative
budget by the City Council. Citzens are invited to attend the budget hearing
September 6, 1983, at 7.:30 p.m., and have the right to provide written or oral
comments concerning the entire City Budget and its relationship to the Revenue
Sharing Funds, and that a copy of the proposed City Budget in detail is avail-
able at City Hall, 728 Meridian Street,-Meridian, Idaho for inspection during
regular office hours.
