ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGL~ING TI-iE 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1982, AND ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF
SEPT~ER, 1983, AND GIVING rdOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO THE PASSAGE
OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVID BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF MERRIDLAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable
amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of September, 1982-1983
be published in the Valley News, a publication beginning with the issue
of August 25, 1982, and September 1, 1982, and the Notice of Public Hearing
said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum be published
therewith.
Section 2. That a statf•-nent of the probable revenue of the City of
Meridian for the 1982-1983 fiscal year is as follows:

Section 4. That the estimated assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian
is $139,527,251.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of Meridian
this 16th day of August, 1982.
I, LaWana L. Niemann, City Clerk of the City of Meridian, Idaho do hereby
certify that the above is a true and correct statement of the proposed
expenditures and revenues for fiscal year 1982-1983, all of which have been
tentatively approved. I further certify that the City of Meridian, Idaho
did give notice and hold a hearing upon the proposed uses of the City's
General Revenue Sharing Funds with notice having been published at least
seven days prior to the adoption of the tentative budget by the City Council.
Citizens are invited to attend the budget hearing on September 7th, 1982,
at 7:30 P.M., and have the right to provide written or oral continents
concerning the entire City Budget and its relationship to the Revenue Sharing
Funds, and that a copy of the proposed. City Budget in detail is available at
City Hall, 728 Meridian Street, Meridian, Idaho for inspection during regular
office hours.
