A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSES FOR
ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING THE 1ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1981, AND ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1982, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO THE PASSAGE
OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable
amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of September, 1981-1982
be published in the Valley News, a publication beginning with the issue
of August 26, 1981, and September 2, 1981, and the Notice of Public
Hearing on said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum be
published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the probable revenue of the City of
Meridian for the 1981-1982 fiscal year is as follows:

Section 4. That the estimated assessed valuation of the said City
of Meridian is $132,940,081.00.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, this 17th day of August, 1981.
I, LaWana L. Niemann, City Clerk of the City of Meridian, Idaho do hereby
certify that the above is a true and correct statement of the proposed
expenditures and revenues for fiscal year 1981-82, all of which have been
tentatively approved. I~ further certify that the City of Meridian, Idaho
did give notice and hold a hearing upon the proposed uses of the City's
General Revenue Sharing Funds with notice having been published at least
seven days prior to the adoption of the tentative budget by the City Council.
Citizens are invited to attend the budget hearing on September 8th, 1981,
at 7:30 P.M., and have the right to provide written or oral comments
concerning the entire City Budget and its relationship to the Revenue
Sharing Funds, and that a copy of the proposed City Budget in detail is
available at City Hall for inspection during regular office hours.
