A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, STATE OF IDAHO, AUTHORIZING
RICHARD L. WILLIAMS, PRESIDENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL, TO SIGN THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION AND RATIFY-
ING SAID SIGNATURE OF RICHARD L. WILLIAMS ON SAID APPLICATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian has submitted its application for the Department of
Housing and Urban Development Block Grant Program and said submission of application
was duly approved by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Meridian; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Meridian, Joseph L. Glaisyer, was unavailable tc
sign the said application at the time of its submission; and
WHEREAS, Richard L. Williams is the President of the City Council and, in the
Mayor's absence, may sign all documents requiring the Mayor's signature,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL of the City of Meri-
dian, State of Idaho, that Richard L. Williams be duly empowered and is by this Reso-
lution empowered to sign the Department of Housing and Urban Development Community
Development Block Grant Program application, and, in that Richard L. Williams has al-
ready signed said application, his signature is hereby ratified and said signature here
by duly binds the City of Meridian under said application.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Meridian this 17th day of November, 198(
