PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGIlUNING THE 7.ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1977, AND ENDIlVG THE 30TH DAY OF SEPTE@~BER,
1978, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO THE PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAIN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO;
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable amount
of money necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of September, 1978! be published in the
V ~ Nevis-Times, a publications beginning with the issue of August 24 and
31, 1977, and the Notice of Public hearing on said estimate and probable levy
required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the probable revenue of the City of Meridiem
for the 1978 fiscal year is as follows:

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian
is X12,036,545.00.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses and
appropriation therfor as herein set forth will require a levy for general
reserve and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian of not to exceed
35 mills on the dollar, and in compliance V~.th Section 50-1003 Idaho
Code, the Mayor and the City Council will hold a public hearing on Sept-
ember 6, 1977 at 7:30 P.M., at which time any person interested may appear
and protest such proposed estimate and levy prior to the passage of an
annual appropriation bill.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridians this 22nd day of Augusts 2977.
