1976-062 Expense Estimate 1976-1977460 RE~~~O~i No. 62 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSES FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE 1ST DAY;OF JANUARY, 1976, AND ENDING THE 31ST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1976, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO THE PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO: ' Section 11 That the following classified estimate of the probable amount of mone~r necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of December, 1976, be published in the Valley News-Times, a weekly newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for two publications beginning Frith the issue. of March 4 and March 11, 1976, and the Notice of Public Hearing on said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum be published therew3.th. Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian is $5,428,575.00. Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses and appropriation therefor as herein set forth will require a levy for general reserve and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian of not to exceed 35 mills on the dollar, and in compliance with Section 50-1003, Id~eho Code, the Mayor and the City Council will hold a public hearing on March 15, 1976 at 7:30 P.M., at which time any person interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and levy prior to passage of an annual appropriation bill.
