A RESOLUTION DEALING WITH THE CITY OF MERIDIANS PARTCIPATION IN WATER LINE
DIFFERENTIALS IN DE~TELOPING SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho,
that the following sets forth the City of Meridians policy relating to the
development of water lines within the City of Meridian:
The primary cost and responsibility for water lies development shall be
that of the subdivider or developer. It shall be the developers responsibility
to purchase and lay water lines from the present water supply to the proposed
pro3ect. The City, however, recognizes that in certain instances it may be
desirable from the City~s standpoint, to lay a larger line than required to
serve the specific subdivision in question. When such a situation exists, it
is the City~s policy to require the larger line, and to varying degrees,
depending on each specific situation, participate in the increased costs
necessitated by the larger line.
