Seotion 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable amount
of money n®eessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning the lst day of January, 1971, and
ending the 31st day of December,~1971, be published in the Valley News-Times.
a weekly newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for t~ publications
beginning with the issue of March 4th and 11th, and the Notice of Pnb],ic Hearing
on said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the City of Meridian
for the previous fiscal year is as followsa

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian, for
the year 1970 is approximately the sum of $2,324x356.00.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses and appro-
priation therefor as herein set forth will require a levy for general serve
and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian of not to exceed and in
compliance with Section 50-1002 Idaho Code, the Mayor and the City Cguncil will
hold a public hearing on March 22, 1971 at 7s00 P.M., at which time any person
interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and levy prior to
passage of an annual appropriation bill.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of .the City of
Meridian, this 1st day of March, 1971.
