PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE-
GINNING THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY, 1968, AND ENDING THE 31ST DAY OF DECEMBER,
1968, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE ~ THE ANNUAL APPR0..
PRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN' ADA
COUNTY IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable amount
of money necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho, for the fiscal year beginning the lst day of January, 1968, and
ending the 31st day of December, 1966, be published in the Meridian News-Times,
'~ a weekly newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for two publications be-
,; '~ ginning with the issue of February 15th and 22nd, and the Notice of Public Hear-
~; ing on said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum be published
,~ therewith.

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian for

-~; - Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses and appro-
priation therefor as herein act forth will require a levy for general reserve and
II municipal purposes for the City of Meridian of not to exceed 35 mills on the dollar
~' and in compliance with Section 50-1102 Idaho Code, the A~.yor and the City Council
will hold a public hearing on March 4th , 1968 at 8%~ p.m•, at which time any
~;~ parson interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and;lex!y prior to
~~ _;~' passage of an annual appropriation bill. ~ ,
