A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, 1DAH0,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1963
AND ENDING THE 31st DAY OF DECENIDER, 1963, AND GIVING NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIA-
TION BILL. '
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CaY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA GOUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That the following classif led estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the first day of January, 1963 and ending the 31st day
of December' 1963, be published in the Meridian News-Times, a
weekly newspaper published 3n the City of Meridian, for two publi-
cations beginning with the issue of February seventh, 1963 and
that Notice of Public Hearing on said estimate acid probable levy
required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all pur-
poses for the City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending
December 31, 1963 is as follows:-

Section~4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of
Meridian for the year 1963 is approximately the sum of
X1,607,641.00.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a
levy for general reserve and municipal purposes for the City of
Meridian of~not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance ~:
with Section 50-1102 Idaho Code,~the Mayor and City Council will
hold a public hearing on March 4, 1963~at B:OO.P.M., at the
City Hall in the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at
which time any person interested may ap~ar and protest such pro-
posed estimate and levy prior to passage of an annual appropriation
bill.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, this fourth day of February, 1963.
