A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1961, AND
ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF APRIL, 1962, AND GIVING NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPR]i4TI0N
BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probably amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for. the fiscal ye$r
beginning the first day of May, 1961 and ending the 30th day of
April, 192, be published in the Meridian News-Times, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Meridian, for two publications
beginning with the issue of June eighth, 1961 and that Notice of
Public Hearing on said estimate and probably levy required to raise
said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all pur-
poses for the City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending
April 30, 1962 is as follows:-

Sect ion 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of
Meridian for the year 1961 is approximately the sum of X1,530,887.00
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a lei~y
for general reserve and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian
of not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with .
Section 50-1102, Idaho Code, The Mayor and City Council will hold a
public hearing on July tenth, 1961 at $:00 P.M. at the City Hall
in the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at which time any
person interested may appear and protest such proposed est~snate and
levy prior to passage of an anxaual appropriation bill.
Passed by-the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, this fifth day of June, 1961.
