The matter of the sale of the home situated on Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 2 of Meridian '1'c~nsite in Meridian, Ada-County, State of Idaho, owned by the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, was pr'endnt,®d to the Council by the Mayor for consideration, After fr~odnd~darefulo~ohs~lerati~fi~~Qou.$c~fiiaaric,li ~_M~.yes introduced and moved the adoption of the following Resolution of the Dity of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, to-wit:= RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF' THE HOME STfUATID ON LOTS 1, 2 and 3 IN BLOCK 2 OF MERIDIAN TOWNSITE IN MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO. - - WHEREAS, the Qity of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, is the owner of a certain home situated on Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 2 of Meridian Townsite in Meridian, Ada County, State of Idaho, and WHEREAS, the same home is situated on the above described real property which was purchased by the City of Meridian for the pur- pose of construction thereon of a fire station and said home is of no use or benefit to said City and therefore the best interests of the City of Meridian is to sell the same to be moved toy the Buyer therefrom in order for construction of the fire station.- NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:- 1. That the home situated on the above described property owned by the City of Meridian, be offered for sale to the highest bidder for cash, lawful money of the United States, to b e removed from said property within two (2) weeks by the purchaser at his own r, ~.~__::; e~epensd-, all bids to be in writing and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Meridian on or before November 21, 1960,5:00 p.M. 2. All bids made and filed shall be accompanied by the full amount bid. 3. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to re3ect any and all bids. 4• That upon the acceptance by the City Council of any bidders bid for the purchase of said home, and upon the full payment of the purchase price therefor, the City Council of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, by and through its Mayor, duly authenticated by its Clerk, is hereby authorized, ordered and directed to convey to any bidder or purchaser, all the right, - title and interest of the said City of Meridian, in and to said home. 5. That the City Clerk of the City of Meridian shall cause to b3 published in the Meridian News-Times, a newspaper published successive weeks prior to November 21st , 1960, a Notice of Intention~to Sell said Home. The Motion for the adoption of said resolution was seconded by Councilman Brown. Upon the question of the adoption of the resolution being put to the Council, the Clerk called for the nYeasn and ~~Nayst~ with the resu~.t as follows: W. Dean Mayes Yea R. S.
