A RESOLUT'SON AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNIlUG THE.FIDST DAY OF MAY, 1960, AND
ENDING THE 30THE DAY OF APRIL, 1961, AND GIVING NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MA'~OR AND C1'PY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Bection 1. That the following classified estimatd of the pro-
bable amount of money necessary to be raised.for all purposes in
the City of Meridian, Ada` Courit~-, Idaho, for the fiscal year begin-
ning the first day of may, 1960 and ending the 30th day of April,
1961, be published in the Meridian NewsTimes, a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Meridian for two publications beginning
with the issue of June 17th , 1960 and that Notice of Public hear-
ing on said estimate and probable levy required to raise said sum
be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all pur-

April 30, 1961, is as follows:

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of
Meridian for the year'1960 is approximately the sum of X1,402,776.00:
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriations therefor as' herein set forth will require a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian
of not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with
Section 5A-1102, Idaho Code, the Mayor and City Council will hold
a public hearing on July ll, 1960 at 8:00 P.M., at the City Hall in
the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at which time any
person interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and
levy prior to passage of an annual appropriation bill.
