Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Ieridian, Ada County,•Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the fiirst day of May, 1957, and ending the 30th day of
April, 1955, be'~ published in the Meridian Times, a weekly newspaper
published in t e said City of rdleridian for two publications begin-
ning with the issue of June 13 ,. 1957, and that Notice of Public
Hearing on the said estimate and probable levy required to raise
said sum, be p blished therewith.
Section 2.' That a statement of the entire revenuE;•~f the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 4.I That the assessed valuation of the said City•of
Meridian for t e year 1957 is approximately the sum of X1,230,495.00
Section 5• Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City •of Meridian
of not to excead 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with
Section 50-110 , Idaho Qode, the Mayor and City Council will hold
a public heari g on July 1, 1957 at 5:00 P.iJl., at which time any
person ihte~ested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and
levy prioi'~to assage of an annual appropriation bill.
