1955-023 Sale Sewer Revenue Bonds
Resolution No. 23.
Whereas it appears that the bid of Richards, Merrill & Peterson, inc.,
of Spokane, estate of Washington, for said bonds is the best bid for
said Water-Sewer Revenue Bonds of X275,000.00, and that it is to the
best interests of said City that
said bid be accepted and said bonds sold to said bidder above named under
the terms of said bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAY OR A1~D COTJIP?CIL of "the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, as follows: ~;~; r°
n.
1. That the bid of the bidder above named in this Resolution for
said bonds be, and the same is hereby accepted, and said bonds of~-~•275,000~.=00
are hereby sold unto said bidder above named in accordance with the~'terms
of said bod; and the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Meridian, are here-
by authorized and directed to obtain the preparation and printing of
said bonds and the execution, attestation and countersignin~;.of the same"
by the proper officers of said City, and to cause the said bonds t;o ;b,e
delivered unto the said purchaser upon receipt of the purchase price
tr~er•ez'or by the City Treasurer;
2. That said bonds shall be dated December 1, 1955, and shall be-of
the denomination of 1,000.00 each. '
3: That the rate, or rates, of interest which said bonds shall bear
shall be as follows;
For bonds maturing in each of the years 1957 to 1965, both inclusive,
3~J per annum;
For bonds maturing in each of the years 1966 to 1980, both inclusive,
3~% per annum;
Said Interest being payable on the first days of June and December of
each year.
!~. In the event the bonds are dated subsequent to October 1, 1955,
then, and in that event the month of the years in which the bonds may '
be redeemed shall be changed to agree with the month of dating of said
bonds determined upon by the Council and the purchaser.
5. That the place of payment of said bonds and interest coupons
attached thereto shall be at the office of the Treasurer of the City of
Meridian, Idaho, in Meridian, Idaho.
6. That the form of said bonds, interest coupons attached thereto
and certificates which shall be printed thereon, shall be substantially
in the form set forth in Ordinance No. 75, adopted by the Mayor and
Council on December 5th, 1955•
