Resolution No 21
WHEREAS, due returns of all votes cast at~the Special Municipal
Bond Election held within the ~Ity of Meridian, Idaho, on August 30, 1955,
for the purpose stated in Ordinance No. 7t4., passed and approved Aug-
ust 3,.1955, have been duly made and certified:to the Clerk and City
Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, and returns of said election
have been duly made unto the said City Council in all respects as re-
quired by law; and the Clerk and City Council have heretofore examined
and canvassed said votes and said returns, and it appears that said
election was ordered and has been noticed and held in all respects
in conformity with law, and that there have been cast .upon said que-
stion-and Proposition of-the issuance of Revenue Bonds in the amount
of not maore than X275,000.00, 563 votes, of which votes in the number
of 517 have been cast IN FAVOR OF the issuance of said Revenue Bons
in the foregoing amount, and votes in the number of 1~6 have been cast
AGAINST the issuance of said Revenue Bonds and None Votes were spoiled
and not counted, and that more than two-thirds of the votes cast at s
said election were IN FAVOR OF the foregoing Revenue Bond Issue, and .
that the Proposition of the issuance of the foregoing Revenue Bonds
have been duly ratified and approved by the qualified electors of
said City Voting at said election;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY~HESOLVED AND DECLARED by the City
Council of said City of Meridian, Idaho, that the foregoing Proposi-
tion~of issuing xevenue Bonds in the principal amount of not more than
X275,000.00, for the purpose stated in said Urdinance No. 74 of said
City, has been adopted, approved and ratified by the qualified elect-
ors of said City, as required by the .Constitui~~:on and Laws of the State
of Idaho and the Ordinances of the City of Meridian, Idaho.
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said bonds shall be
issued for the foregoing purpose and in accordance with the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 7~. of said City and the subsequent Ordin-
ances and Resolutions of this City Council adopted in conformity
therewith; and the Clerk and City Council are hereby authorized and'
ordered to do all things necessary for the preparation, execution
and issuance of said. bonds in accordance with the Resolution.:; or
Resolutions, awarding the same,-upon the sale thereof, and that.
the same may be sold as provided and authorized by law
Passed by the City Council and Approved by the Mayor of the
City of ]Meridian, this 7th day of November, 1955•
