A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OI' EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, gD~ COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF MATT , L~~,~, AND ENDING
THE 30th DAY OF APRIL, 7L956, AND GNING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to fie raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning .the first day of May, 1955, and ending the 30th day of
April, 1956, be published in the Meridian Times, a weekly newspaper
published in the said City of~Meridian for Two publications begin-
ning with the issue of June~B, 1955, and that Notice of Public Hear-
ing on the said estimate and probalbe levy required to raise said
sum, be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all, pur-
poses for the City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending
April 30, 1956, is as follows:-

Meridian for the year 1955, is approzimate~ly the sum 6~ ~1,2~7,443-s Q0
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated ezpenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will requir~e~,a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City of~Mepidian,
of not to egdeed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with Sec-
tion 50-1102, Idaho Code, the Mayor and City Council will hold a
public hearing on July 11, 1955.,- at 8;00 o'clock P. M., at the ity
Hall in the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at which time
any person interested may appear and protest such proposed esti-
mate and levy prior to passage of the annual appropriation bill.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, this 6th day of June, 1955-
