WHEREAS, there is shown on the books and official accounts
of the City of Meridian by the official audit of Sherrer, Moore &
Rife, Public Accountants, dated June 10, 1953, an improvement.
district main sewer account in the principal sum of ~g74.37 and
an improvement district lateral sewer account in the principal
sum of X1904.44, and
WHEREAS, these accounts represent receips from the installa-
tion of sewage disposal facilities and income from taxes for the
maintenance of the sewage disposal facilities, and
WHEREAS, these moneys have stood idle upon the books and re-
cords of the City of Meridian for many years last past, and
,4 WHEREAS, the legal enforcement or both the collection and
disbursement of these funds have been declared to be illegal and
void by the Courts of competent jurisdiction within the State of
Idaho, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the city council to transfer
this money to the general fund of the City of Meridian.
NOW THEREFORE, upon motion duly made, seconded and passed
unanimously, it is hereby ordered that the above mentioned fund
be, and they are hereby transferred to the general fund of the
City of ,Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
