THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNl~TG THE FIRST DAY OF MAY, 1953,AT•1D LI~TDING
THE 30TH DAY OF APRIL, 1954, AND GIVI~?G NOTICE OF PUBLIC I~E~IRING
PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE .~1NUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.

Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Il~eridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the first day of May, 1953, and ending the 30th day of
April, 195L, be published in the Meridian Times, a weekly newspa-per .,~.
published in the said City of Meridian for two publcations begin-
ning with!~he issue:~of July 9, 1953, and that Notice of Public Hear- -
ing on the said estimate and probable levy required to raise said
sum, be published therewith.

Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said Cit;~ of
Meridian for the, year 1953 is a~oproximately the sum of ~1,222.70g.00
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estirQated expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian,
of not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with Sec-
tion 50-1102, Idaho Code, the 1.4ayor, and City Council will hold a
public hearing on August 3, 1953, at X3:00 O'clock P.~ . at the
City Hall in the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at
which time any person interested may appear and protest such pro-
posed estimate and levy prior to passage of the annual appropriation i
bill.

City of Meridian, this 2nd day of July, 1953•
