ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, and LOT 22 IN BLOCK l OF THE ORIGINAL TOVJNSITE
~OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUATTY, IDAHO, OWNED BY THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA

Thy matter of the sale~of Lots Nos. 3,4,5,6;7,8,9 '
and 10 in Block No. 1 of Rowan's Addition to Meridian, Ada County;
Idaho, and•Lot 22•in Block 1 of the Original Twonsite of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, owned by the City of Meridian, Ada Ct~unty, Idaho,
was presented to the Council by the Mayor for consideration. After
full and careful consideration, Councilman Dale Bates
introduced and moved•the~adoption of the. following Resolution of
the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, To-wit :-
• RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF LO^1S NOS. 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 IN BLOCK N0: 1 OF ROWAN'S ADDITION TO MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, and LOT 22 IN BLOCK 1 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWNSITE
OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO.
WHEREAS the City of Meridian, ~d.a County, Idaho, is the
owner of the following described real estate, situate, lying and
being in the said City of Meridian, to-w it:-
Lots Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-and 10 in Block No. 1 of
Rowan's Addition to Meridian, Ada County, Idaho as shown
by the official plat thereof on file and of record in the
County Records of the said Ada County, Idaho;
Lot 22 in Block 1•of the Original Townsite of Meridian,
Ada County, Idaho, as shown by the off i.cial plat thereof
on file and of record in the county records of the said
Ada County, Idaho.
and,
• U~TIEREAS, the said real estate is not used as a public
park, playground or public building site, nor is, the same needed
for municipal purposes by the City of Meridian; and
~ WHEREAS, said lots are well located and have considerable
value for building purposes and in the .opinion of the City Council
can be sold at this time for a substantial sum and should be sold
' without further delay; and
_ V~~iEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City of
Meridian and the inhabitants thereof, and ±~~,~ City Council deems it
for the good of the City of Meridian that said lots be sold at the
best price obtainable; and
Vl'HEREAS, the City of Meridian has legal authority under
the above mentioned circumstances and under the provisions of
;~\ Section 50-1008 Idaho Code, to sell and convey the lots above
described, after first publishing notice of intention to sell said
property once each week for two successive weeks in a local news-
-, paper of general circulation in the City of Meridiah;
` NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE MAYOR AND CITY
. COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO:-
1. That the above described lots owned by the City of
Meridian be offered for sale to the highest bidder for cash, law-
ful money of the United States, all bids to be in writing and
sealed and f-sled with- the City Clerk of the City of Meridian, on
- or before November 29, 1952•
2. Said Lots shall be sold separately and all bids made
and filed by bidders shall be for separate bids for separate lots.
3. All bids made and filed shall be accompanied by the
full amount bid.
4. The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to
reject any and all bids.

5. That upon the acceptance by the City Council of any
bidder's bid far the purchase of any of said lots, and upon the full
payment of the purchase price therefor, the City Council of the
City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, by and through its mayor, duly
authenticated by its Clerk, is hereby authorized, ordered and direct-
ed to convey to any bidder or purchaser, all the right, title and
interest of the said City of Meridian in and to any lot or lots so
pruchased, by quitclaim deed.
6. .That the City Clerk of the City of .Meridian shall
cause to be published in the Meridian times, a newspaper published
and having a general circulation in the City•of Meridian, for two
successive weeks prior to November 29, 1952, a Notice of
Intention to Sell said Lots, which Notice shall be substantially in
the following fo rm:-

OWNED BY THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA ~ ,
COUNTY, IDAHO.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GLEN; That pursuant to the provisions
of Section 50-1008 Tdaho Code, and a Resolution of the City Council
of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, adopted at a regular
nesting thereof Nov ember ~, 1952, in accordance with the
provisions of said Statute, the City Council of the said City
of Meridian hereby offers for sale in separate parcels, upon the
terms and conditions hereinafter stated, and subject•to acceptance
and approval by the said City Council, all the right, Ttitle, and
interest of the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, of, in and to
those certain lots, pieces or parcels of real property, not used
as a public park, playground, or Aublic building site, nor needed
for municipal purposes by the said City of Meridian,•situate, lying
and being in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, particularly
described as follows, to-wit:-
Lots Nos. 3, 4, 5, b, 7, S, 9, and 10 in•Block No. 1 of
Rowan's Addition to Mer idian, Ada County, Idaho, as shown
by the official plat thereof on file and of record in the
County Records of the said Ada County, Idaho.
Lot 22 in Block 1•of the Original townsite of Meridian, ~,
Ada County, Idaho, as shown by the official plat thereof
on file and of record in the County Records of the said
Ada County, Idah o.
• TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:- ~(1) All bids must be in
writing, sealed and filed with the City• Clerk of the City of Meri-
dian, on or before November 29, 1952, (2) Said Lots will
be sold separately and all bids filed shall be made for separate
bids for separate lots. (3) All bids filed shall be accompanied
by the full amount bid. (!~) The City Council reserves the right
to reject any and all bids. (5) This Notice is a Notice of Inten-
tion to Sell or offer of sale, and not a sale of said real property.
(6) Upon•the acceptance of any bid or bids for the purchase of
skid lots, and payment of the amount bid, a deed of conveyance in
terms of this Notice will be made, executed and delivered to ahy
purchaser by the proper officers of the City Council of the City of
Meridian.
