A, RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING TIDE FIRST DAY OF MAY, ~,~~~C, AND ENDING
TfIE ~~~TH DAY OF APRIL, 1953, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIANT, ADA COUI~ITY, IDAHO:-
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada. County, • Idaho, for the fiscal year
beginning the first day of IvIay,: 195, and ending the 30th day of
April, 195, be published in the Meridian Times, a weekly newspaper
published in the said City of•Meridian for two publications begin-
ning with the issue of may-22, 1952, and that Notice of Public Hear-
ing~on the said estimate and probable levy required to raise said
sum, be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows :-

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all pur-
poses for the City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending
April 30, 1953, is as follows:-

Section 4• That the assessed valuation of the said City of
Meridian for the year 195 is approximately the sum of X1,088,251.00.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated oxpenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City of IVleridian,
of not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with Sec-
tion 50-1102,~Ida ho Code; the Mayor and City Council will hold a
public hearing on~-dune 2, 195.2, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the
City Hall in the said City of Meridian, Ada •County, Idaho, at
which time any person interested may appear and protest such pro-
posed estimate and levy prior to passage of the annual appropriation
bill.
Passed by the City Council and Approved by the Mayor of the
City of_ Meridian, this 5th day of IUlay, 1952•
