FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF TJIERIDIA7`d, ADA COUT~TTY, IDAHO, FOR
THE FISCAL Yr~AR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF IaTAY, 1949 , AND ENDITdG
THE 30th DAY OF APRIL, 1951, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIOrJ BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE iJ1AY0R AND CITY COUNCIL OF TITS CITY
OF I~tERID?AN, ADA COUl'dTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the
probable amount of money necessary to be raised for all purposes
in the City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho for the fiscal year
beginning the first day of day, 1949 and ending the 30th day of
April, 1951, be published in the IJleridian Times, a weekly news-
paper published in the said City of Tuieridian for two publications
beginning with the issue of June 16, 1949, and that Notice of Public
Hearing on the said est~.mate and probable levy required to raise
said sum, be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
6ity of IdIeridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 4. That the assessed valuation in said City of
i+~eridian for the year 1948 was ~827,600.OOi
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a
levy of more than 10 mills on the dollar and in compliance with
Section 50-1102, Idaho Code, the T~Iayor and City Council will hold
a public hearing on July 5, 1949, at 8:00 o'clock P. 1J7. at the
City Hall in the said City of TiTeridian, at which ti.~e any person
interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate and levy
prior to passage of the annual appropriation bill.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the LIayor of the
City of T~eridian this-6th day of June, 1949. ---
