A RESOLUTION AUTTiORIGING PUBLICATION OF AN APJIENDED ESTIT~d1ATE OF
" EXPENSES FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF P~ERIDIAi~T, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINidING THE FIRST DAY OF mAY, 1948,
AND ETSDING TFIE 30th DAY OF APRIL, 1949; AND GIVING NOTICE OF
P"tTBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ANT~NAL APPROPRIATION BILb.
VAS, the City Council of the said City of vleridian,
Ada County, Idaho, passed and the vllayor thereof approved May 12,
1948, Resolution No. 10 authorizing publication of an estimat®
of expenses for all purposes for the said City of meridian for the
fiscal year beginning the first day of TJlay, 1948 and ending the
30th day of April, 1949, said estimate having been duly published
in the ~~ieridian Times, a weekly newspaper published in the said
City of T~eridian, for two publications beginning with the issue
of 1Nay 20, 1948; antl,
~+ ~ EAS, there was inadvertently omitted from said resolu-
tion and estimate as published, the item of the amount necessary
to be expended for City Park purposes during said fiscal year and
such amount should have been included in such estimate, and it~
would be for the best interests of the said City of Meridian and
the inhabitants thereof, that the-same should be included in said
estimate; and in order that said amount necessary to be expend®d
for City Park purposes should b® so included, it is now necessary
that an amended classified estimate of the probable amount of money
necessary to be raised for all purposes in the said City of IJleridian
Por the said fiscal year should be published and notice of public
hearing thereon be held as required by law, and that a resolution

Section 1. That the following amended classified estimate
of the probable amount of money necessary to b® raised for all pur-
poses in the said City of heridian for the fiscal year beginning
the first day of I~ay, 1948 and ending the 30th day of April, 1949
be published in the T~leridian Times, a weekly newspaper, published

in the said City of idI®ridian, for two publications beginning with
the issue of June 10, 1948 and Notice of Public ~i®aring on the said
'" estimate and the probable levy required to raise said sum be pub-
lisped therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the
City for the previous fiscal year is as follows:

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all
purposes for the fiscal year ending April 30, 1949, is as follows:

Section 4. Notice is hereby given that the estimated
appropriations as herein set forth will requir® a levy of more than
10 mills on the dollar, and that in compliance with Sic. 49-1102
Idaho Code Annotated, as amended by Chapter 34 of the 1945 Idaho
Session Laws, the mayor and City Council will hold a public hedr-
ing, July 5, 1948 at eight o+clock P.iUI., at which time any person
interested may appear and protest such estimate and levy prior to
passage of the annual appropriation bill.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the iv7ayor of
the City of Ivleridian, i~da County, Idaho, tTzis 7th day of Jun®, 1948.
