BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN REAPPOINTING DAVID STOLHAND TO SEAT 4 OF THE MERIDIAN
ARTS COMMISSION; REAPPOINTING ROB WALKER TO SEAT 5 OF THE
MERIDIAN ARTS COMMISSION; REAPPOINTING MEG GLASGOW TO SEAT 6 OF
THE MERIDIAN ARTS COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on February 27, 2007, pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-5-3(B)(2),
Mayor Tammy de Weerd appointed, with City Council's approval, six persons to the Meridian
Arts Commission, including David Stolhand, Meg Glasgow, and Fred Shaddick;
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2007, by Resolution No. 07-551, Mayor De Weerd
designated Commissioner Shaddick to fill Seat 5, the initial term of which was to be three years
per the Commission Bylaws, i.e. from February 27, 2007 through February 26, 2010; in May of
2009 Mayor De Weerd accepted the resignation of Commissioner Shaddick and on May 26,
2009, by Resolution no. 09-666, Mayor De Weerd appointed, with City Council's approval, Rob
Walker to serve the remainder of the Seat 5 term;
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2007 by Resolution no. 07-551, Mayor De Weerd designated
David Stolhand to fill Seat 4, the initial term of which was to be three years per the Commission
Bylaws, i.e. from February 26, 2007 through February 27, 2010;
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2007 by Resolution no. 07-551, Mayor De Weerd designated
Meg Glasgow to fill Seat 6, the initial term of which was to be three years per the Commission
Bylaws, i.e. from February 26, 2007 through February 27, 2010;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That, effective February 27, 2010, David Stolhand shall be reappointed to
Seat 4 of the Meridian Arts Commission, which term shall run from February 27, 2010 through
February 26, 2013, pursuant to Meridian City Code Section 2-5-3 (C).
Section 2. That, effective February 27, 2010, Rob Walker shall be reappointed to Seat 5
of the Meridian Arts Commission, which term shall run from February 27, 2010 through
February 26, 2013, pursuant to Meridian City Code Section 2-5-3 (C).

Section 3. That, effective February 27, 2010, Meg Glasgow shall be reappointed to Seat
6 of the Meridian Arts Commission, which term shall run from February 27, 2010 through
February 26, 2013, pursuant to Meridian City Code Section 2-5-3 (C).
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
