In the nearly six years I have lived in this house I have never used the garage to park my cars in because of planters installed before I purchased the house. I only have a 2-3 inch clearence on either side of my car, so actually getting my car in and out of the garage is difficult. The salon will be installed in a manner that if I were to sell the house in the future, the salon could be taken out, and it would be a garage. again. The overhead garage door will remain in place and functional, with a wall set back across the garage to provide a storage area for bikes, etc. (see drawings). A false floor the height of the house floors will allow all plumbing to be run under the false floor without disturbing the concrete garage floor. If the salon were ever to be taken out, the pipe could be removed and capped off. From the outside, my house will still look exactly the same. Any noise or smell from perms, etc. will be negligible, and not a disturbance to neighbors. Since it will be a single station salon, traffic and parking will be minimal also.
