MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Thi Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into this r ~ day of
f , 1999, by and between the Ada County Highway District
(AC D) and the City of Meridian (Meridian).
A. ACHD and Meridian agree as follows:
To identify and inform each other of sensitive projects and issues of interest
to the other as early as possible.
2. Each agency may request the other to make an official statement of position
on an issue of mutual interest. The agency of which the request is made
shall endeavor to communicate an official statement of position as soon as
is reascnably possible.
3. To give serious consideration to an official statement of position issued by
the other.
4. To cooperate and communicate on items of importance to the other agency.
5. To take into account the input and advice of each other on issues involving
land use and transportation decisions.
6. To participate, and encourage appropriate staff members to participate, in
ad hoc committees to address issues of mutual importance.
7. To participate in a joint meeting on the third Thursday of even months to
discuss items of mutual interest.
B. This MOU shall remain in full force and effect until terminated by either party.
