Dear Mr. Engstrum:
Your request to install a new Redbox DVD rental machine at 1630 E. McMillan Road has been reviewed
and approved. This decision is based on the following:
• The property is located within the corporate boundaries of the City of Meridian and current
zoning district of the property is C-N (Neighborhood Business District).
• A Conditional Use Permit (CUP-08-016) was granted by City Council to operate a 24 hour
Maverik convenience store and fuel sales facility.
• A Certificate of Zoning Compliance (CZC-08-116) was issued for the property located at 1630 E.
McMillan Road, which authorized the use of the site for a Maverik convenience store and fuel
sales facility.
• The proposed use of a retail rental machine is a principally permitted use in the C-N zoning
district.
• The proposed Redbox DVD rental machine shall meet the standards set forth in UDC 11-3A-16.
UDC 11-3A-16 is available for review at: http://www.meridiancity.org/plannin .aspx?id=227.
• No exterior alterations or site modifications are proposed.
