TABLES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DRTE. Is there anyone who
wishes Ordinance #569 read in its entirety? No response.
The Motion was made by Tolsma and seconded by Giesler that the
rules and provisions of 50-902 and all rules and provisions
requiring that Ordinances be read on three different days be
dispensed with_and that Ordinance #569 be passed and approved.

ITEM #12: WAVNE FORREY, UPDATE ON DOWNTOWN PROJECT & LID:
Forrey: This evening it was our intent to come before you and
present the assessment role for LID 90-1 on the East First Street
Improvement Project. Eng. Smith and I met with the Highway
District last Thursday with the intent to finalize some numbers
then prepare that assessment role, bring it to the Council
tonight so that you could set a hearing date and we could mail
the notices to the newspaper and all of the property owners. We
are still wrestling with some numbers and I am confident that by
the next Council Meeting we will have that resolved and be able
to go an with the LID assessment. Explained to Council some of
the costs associated with E. First Street and some change orders.
(Discussion) These calculations are assuming that the Highway

I have reviecaed this plat and find two (2) things that
need attention from the developer.
1. State Code Section 50-1334 requires a statement on
the plat concerning how the lots will be supplied
domestic water. Other plats submitted have shown
this information in the "Certificate of Owners"
statement.
2. The 2nd line from the bottom of the written legal
description in the Certificate of Owners statement
contains an error in the bearing "North 83°254'00"East."
This'should read "North 83°54'00"East."

Please find enclosed mapping information for the VAL VISTA SUBDIVISION
NO. 2 located in a portion of the N 1/2 of the SW 1/4 Sec. 23, T. 3
N. R. 1 W., Ada County, Idaho. More specifically, it is located on
S. Ten Mile Road and north of w. Victory Road. This phase of the
development is the second and last phase of the previously approved
Val vista Subdivision.
The Preliminary Plat for the VAL VISTA SUBDIVISION was approved by the
Ada County Commissioners on June 6, 1991. Therefore, in accordance
with the Conditions of Approval, specifically, Item No. 9, which
addresses the need for the City of Meridian City Clerk and City
Engineer to approve the Final P1at,~ please find enclosed the following
items for your review:
1. Final Plat, sheet 1 for VAL VISTA SUBDIVISION NO. 2, 7
