BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION VACATING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES, DRAINAGE AND
IRRIGATION EASEMENT ON A PORTION OF LOTS 7 AND 8, BLOCK 3 OF
GARDNER-AHLQUIST SUBDIVISION N0.2, BOOK 101 AT PAGES 13370-13372,
LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST 1/ OF THE NORTHWEST 1/ OF SECTION 16,
TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on January 6, 2009 the City Council of Meridian, held a hearing on the
public utilities, drainage and irrigation easement vacation on a portion of Lots 7 & 8, Block 3 of
Gardner-Ahlquist Subdivision No. 2, Book 101 at pages13370-13372, located in the Northwest
'/ of the Northwest '/ of Section 16, Township 3 North, Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, City of
Meridian, Ada County, State of Idaho, and
WHEREAS, after such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve said
described vacation; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the public utilities, drainage and irrigation easement vacation on a
portion of Lots 7 & 8, Block 3 of Gardner-Ahlquist Subdivision No. 2, Book 101 at pages
13370-13372, located in the Northwest'/ of the Northwest'/ of Section 16, Township 3 North,
Range 1 East, Boise Meridian, City of Meridian, Ada County, State of Idaho, is hereby vacated.
Copies of the necessary relinquishments are attached as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
