Dear Mr. Gerken:
Purs~_tant to your request, the Eence Variance Committee of the
City of Meridian met at' 4:15 P. M. , hiov~mber 9, i99'c' in City Hai i,
in your presence, to discuss the construction, of a six (6) foot
tall board fence in the side yard setback area, adiacent and
par^allel to thQ ...back of sidewalk.
After discussion and consderatzf3n of your request the commit+_ee
decided to not al law it as presented because of the dose
proximity of your northerly neighbors driveway. It was decided
the fence can'be located in the setback as outlined below:
i. The fence corner near your northeast property corner shall
be no closer than 15 feet from the back of sidewalk; the
fend, shall then extend to a pant 10--feet from the bac4 of
sidewalk at a point opposite the northeast corner of your
home; -
the fence can then parallel the back of sidewalk, or yout^
home, to a point 47 feet from your northeast property cornE~t^
where the fence shall return to your home.
~. The ground area between the fence and sidewalk shall be
landscaped and maintained by you.
.;. The board side of the fence shall face N. Lochness Way.

the Fence Variance Committee of the City of Meridian will hold a
public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Street,
Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of ~:45 o'clock P .m., on

A written decision of the Committee will be issued to the

decision will be furnished one.
