The Meridian City Fence Variance Committee met on June 8, 1992
4:15 P.M. in City Hall, in your presence, to discuss your request.
The Committee decided to allow the encroachment of your six (6)
foot high wood fence into the side-street setback area with the
following conditions:
1. Locate the fence five (5} feet from the back of sidewalk.
2. The fence shall connect near the mid-point of this side of the
house.
3. The "good" side of the fence shall face oakcrest.
4. The area between the fence and sidewalk shall be landscaped
and maintained by you.
5. Prior to digging post holes please call Dig-Line at 342-1585
for location of underground utilities.
6. Please obtain a fence building permit from City Hall prior to
beginning.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to 11-9-605 J. 10. of the
Revised and Compiled Ordinances of the City of Meridian, that
the Fence Variance Committee of the City of Meridian will hold a
public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Street,
Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 4:15 o'clock p .m., on
June 8 1992 for the .purpose of reviewing and
c o n s i d e r i n g t h e A p p l i c a t i o n o f Theodore & Laurie Roy
for a variance from the Meridian Fence Ordinance at the
property legally described as follows: Lot #20 Block 1,
Mirage Meadows _ Subdivision _ _ _- _ -_ _ - --
and known by the address _2043 N. Whittier Place
T h e A p p l i c a n t p r o p o s e s t o Construct 6 Foot Fence
Five Feet back of Sidewalk along E. Oakcrest Drive, Fence would start
sixty feet back frcan corner of Whittier Place & Oakcrest Drive.

The public is welcome. Testimony, objections, and comments
will be heard and considered by the Committee.
A written decision of the Committee will be issued to the
Applicant and any person requesting in writing a copy of the
decision will be furnished one.

Committee directly to the Meridian City Council pursuant to
Section 11-2-415 G.1.
