The Meridian City Fence Variance Committee met on November 4, 1991 at
4:30 P.M. in City Hall, in your presence, to discuss your request.
This meeting was held pursuant to the Notice of Public Hearing dated
October 10, 1991.
The Committee decided to allow the encroachment of your six (6) foot
high wooden fence into the setback area as follows:
1. Locate fence ten (10) feet from back of existing sidewalk.
2. Fence shall connect to the house at the mid-point of its north wall.
3. The "good side" of the fence shall face Chateau Drive.
4. The area between the fence and the back of sidewalk shall be
landscaped and maintained by you.
5. Please call "Dig-Line" at 342-1585 for location of underground
utilities prior to digging.
6. Please obtain a fence building permit at City Hall prior to beginning
construction.
