RE: Fence Variance Request
Dear Mr. Yorgason and Neyman:
Three of the four members of the Meridian City Fence Variance
Committee met in the presence of Mr. Dennis Neyman, on July 29,
1991 at 4:30 P. M. at Meridian City Hall. This meeting was held
pursuant to the Notice of Public Hearing for this variance
request dated July 24, 1991. The absent member of the committee
was contacted by telephone the following day for his comments to
your request.
The Committee has agreed to accept your proposal to relocate the
existing 6 foot high fence to a line 10 feet from the back of
existing sidewalk. The 6 foot high fence will terminate at a
point in line with the front of each respective home. The
existing shrubs will be moved to be adjacent to the face of the
fence. The movement of this fence will expose the irrigation
pump station located at the southwest corner of Mr. Neyman's lot.
It may be appropriate to cover this station to discourage
vandalism.
The fence will need to have its "good" side facing Cherry Lane
Road and the space between the fence and sidewalk will need to be
landscaped and maintained. Please be advised to call Dig-line at
342-1565 for location of any underground utilities prior to
digging post holes.

public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Street,
