Michael R. Miller:
1. The USPA Boundary be shifted eastward to include lands up to Cloverdale Road,
or at least to the residential area along Cloverdale Road and South of
Overland Road to at least Amity Road.
2. That the Section or so of land between Eagle and Cloverdale Ronda, South of
Overland Road be included within the TIR "T" as well as the other corners.
3. That consideration be given to designate Eagle Road South of I-80 a minor
arterial instead of a collector street.
Joe Simnnich:
First capacity for the new newer disposal plant should be reserved for the
area abouttded by Franklin Road or Highway 30, Linder Road, IIstick Road and
Locust Grove Road.
This area is near existing Commercial and public services. IIniform growth
should have sewer available.
Other areas could grow but this should be encouraged first.
Meridian needs single family type living.
He is concerned by the great amount of low cost apartment and rentals and a large
amount of mobile home type living.

MIXID-USE REVIEW AREA WEST KUNA-MERIDIAN ROAD, NORTH OF I-80N AND SOUTH OF
WALTMAN LANE.. Insert at the bottom of Page 23~-
Thin area ie located in progimity to the Regional Shopping Center, is relatively
level in topography and will have excellent access to the freeway interchange
upon completion of the proposed Frontage Road west of Knna-Meridian Road. Aa a
site for warehousing, light industry and related commercial activities, thin
mixed-use area will provide an excellent location for support services to the
Regional Shopping Center.

POLICIES
1. Development in the mixed-use area should be based on functional plena and
proposals in order to insure that the proposed uses conform to the
Comprehensive Plan Policies and are compatible with the surrounding
communities.
2. The integrity and identity of the adjoining Linder Acres neighborhood
should be preserved through the use of buffering techniques including
screen plantings, open apace and other landscaping techniques.
3. The linear open apace corridor of Ten Mile Creek, which passes through
the Mixed-Use Review Arena, should be preserved and enhanced as a
natural resource for both aesthetic and environmental reasons.

The Motion was made by Burl Pipkin and seconded by Lee Mitchell that the
Planning and Zoning recommend to the City Council that the Comprehensive Plan
of July, 1978 plus addendum of July 31, 1978 be adopted.
