Ordinance:
Chairman Spencer, this Public Hearing will be conducted under the provis-
ions of City of Meridian Ordinance #446: I will now open the Public Hear-
ing: Is there anyone present who wishes to testify on this matter? There
was no response: Public Hearing was closed.
The Motion was made by Morrow and seconded by Johnson to have the City
Attorney prepare Findings of Fact & Conclusions in Ordinance form on
the proposed amendments to the Zoning & Development Ordinance:
Chairman Spencer, any discussion by the Commission?
Shearer, I have a question on the fencing, the present Ordinance does
no speak to fencing in a Commercial or Industrial Zone so why make it
more restrictive by adding this to the Ordinance?
There was discussion on this subject by the Commission Members.
Motion Carried: All Yea:
Chairman Spencer, any other matters that need to be brought up?
City Attorney, we need to have some discussion the Conditional Use
Permit, I believe there need to be some changes made, mainly when it
comes to Old Town District.
There was discussion by the Commission Members on several different
ideas as to how tle Conditional Use Permit should be used. It was the
consensus of the Commission to have the City Attorney draft these items
discussed in some kind of form for further discussion at the next P & Z
Meeting.
