ide are most happy to learn of your progress towards providing a
program for the orderly development o£ the City of Pieridian and the adjacent
fringe areas.
The Ada County Zoning Commission have cooperated with the City of Boise
and the Boise Chamber of Commerce in contacting the Bureau of Census in
[dashington D. C., for the purpose of more closely tailoring the enumeration
of the population of Ada County to it's present land uses. In such procedures
we have secured the approval of the Bureau of Census for enumerations according
to County Census Divisions which are composed of their respective enumeration
districts.
The Meridian County Census Division was broken down into several
enumeration districts. One such enumeration district encompassing the fringe
area development around rieridian and subject to City and County jurisdiction,
was segregated from the other enumeration districts which were farm use in
character.
Should your Commission and Council be interested in this I would be very
happy to meet with your Commissicn to explain the proposition and the benefits
thereto, or any such other phases of planning in which you would be interested.
Sincerely yours,
