SPECIAL MEETING
March 27, 1979
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p. m. by Mayor Don Storey.
Councilmen present: Richard Williams; Joseph Glaisyer;
Grant Kingsford; and Marvin Bodine
Marvin Bodine submitted the attached resolution. Glaisyer moved to go into
executive session. Marvin Bodine seconded the Motion.
Motion Carried.
Executive Session
Resolution was re-read by Glaisyer.
John Fitzgerald was called on for advice.
Glaisyer moved to adjourn executive session. Bodine seconded the Motion
Motion Carried, All yea.
Public Session Re-opened
Pat Joy was called upon to respond to the resolution. Situation was discussed by
Joy. Joy wanted to have wording changed from failure to execute the duties of his
office to something more definitive.
Sherry Witt made comments in behalf of Joy
his. behalf.
Karen Wallace made comments also in
Mayor asked for other statements.
Glaisyer made motion on resolution to dismiss Patrick Joy, City Clerk, from his
duties. Bodine seconded the Motion. Motion passed:
Williams, yea; Kingsford, yea; Glaisyer, yea; Bodine, yea.
Pat Joy made closing statement.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p. m.

RESOLUTION
I HEREBY PROPOSE that PATRICK JOY, who presently
holds the appointive office of City Clerk of the City of
Meridian, be dismissed and relieved of his duties imme-
diately and effective March 27, 1979, at the end of the
business day of that date.

Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Meridian

the meeting is to consider the retention or termination of
the appointment of the present City Clerk of the City of
Meridian.
