1979 05-21• f _ Meridian City Hall May 21, 1979 The Motion was made by Richard Williams and seconded by Grant Kingsford that the meeting be adjourned because of lack of quorum and held May 29th at 7:30 P.M. Motion Carried: All yea Meeting Adjourned at 7:35 P.M. Members of the Veterans Service Organization were present to ask for the cooperation and participation in the upcoming Memorial Day Services to be held at the Meridian Cemetery Field of Honor on Monday, May 28th, 1979 at 11:00 A.M. Wyeth N. Schweers, Officer of the Day, spoke in behalf of the Veterans Service Organization and presented the Mayor and Council with a letter of formal plea for their cooperation and participation with Memorial Day Services. Veterans present were: Officer of the Day, Wyeth N. Schwwers Clive Lynskey, Commander, Post 4000 VFW Robert Otto, Commander of Lloyd E. Hutcheson Post 113 American Legion Clarence Tereboom standing in for Marion Padlock, Colonel U.S. Army retired, representing World War I Barracks 1056 Mayor Glaisyer thanked the Veterans and assured them that he would be attending.
