Special Meeting of the Meridian City Council called to order at 5:00 p.m.:
by Mayor Grant Kingsford:
Members Present: Bill Brewer, Ron Tolsma, Bert Myers, Bob Giesler:
Others Present: Wayne Crookston, Gary Smith, James Kisere
Mayor Kingsford, the purpose of this Special Meeting is to open the Bids
on the Sewer & Water Project for extension of these services across the
Interstate:
The First Bid was from Alliance Corporation with an amount of $336,796.00:
The Second was from Brown G~oaastna~aEtimn with an amount of $374, 465.00:
The Third was from H & K Contractors with an amount of $396,342.00:
The Fourth was from Masco, Inc. with an amount of $287,128.00:
The Fifth Bid was from Paul Construction with an amount of $314,835.62:
The Sixth Bid was from Ramco, Inc with an amount of $319,925.50:
The Seventh Bid was from Sanchez Const., with an amount of $323,928.00:
The Eighth Bid was from Sommer Const. with an amount of $296,496.30:
The Ninth Bid was from St. Clair Cont., Inc. with an amount of $399,497.03:
One other Bid was received from Midwest Contractors on which all the
necessary documents were not included:
The Motion was made by Brewer and seconded by Tolsma to take the Bids
under advisement and make the award at the December 1, 1986 meeting:
Motion Carried: All Yea:
Masco, Inc. stated they had adjusted some of the prices on their bid
but had not changed the total which would further reduce the amount of
their bid.
The Motion was made by Myers and seconded by Tolsma to adjourn at 5:20 p.m.:
