Miguel suffered a violent
seizure. The cat scan revealed a large brain tumor. Most of
the tumor was removed but biopsies showed it was cancer-
ous. Aweek after major brain surgery, he was back at his
internship and attending classes at BSU. During this time he
lost his job. His chemotherapy and seizures have made him
unable to work a full day. Despite these obstacles, they still
serve others and he was able to graduate with his masters
from BSU. This strong, loving family hold onto the hope
that Miguel will be blessed to see his daughters grow up.
Miguel continues to have up to 6 seizures a day and will
continue chemo in hopes the tumor will shrink. Together
we can ease the financial and emotional burden of this
beautiful family. G.I.F.T. plans to raise enough money to
pay off the Rodriquez home, and fulfill their one wish of
visiting Miguel's family in Argentina who long to help.
G.I.F.T was organized by two friends who have a mission
to help families in trying times. We believe, when you
strengthen the family, you strengthen society.
